On May 11, OpenAI launched its independent deployment company, OpenAI Deployment Co., with over $4 billion in initial investment, and acquired AI consulting firm Tomoro (integrating around 150 engineers). It shifts to an enterprise delivery model of “models + on-site engineers.” Led by TPG with 19 global investors and system integrators, the new entity aims to embed AI directly into clients’ core workflows and accelerate large-scale adoption amid Anthropic’s strong enterprise expansion。
